JAMB Admission Acceptance Process for 2025:

✅ How to Accept Your JAMB Admission (2025 Update)

JAMB now requires you to accept admission via SMS, not directly through CAPS.

Steps to Accept Admission:

1. Use your JAMB-registered phone number

2. Open SMS app

3. Send:  

• To: 55019 or 66019  
• Message: `JAMB REG. NUMBER" give a space and type 'ACCEPT`  (eg: 20255183636474HF ACCEPT)

4. Wait for confirmation from JAMB

Key Notes:

• ❌ Don’t use CAPS portal to accept — SMS is now the official method.
• ✅ Ensure your O’Level result is uploaded on CAPS before sending “ACCEPT”.
• ❌ To reject admission, send: `REJECT` to 55019 or 66019.

2. For those who can’t use the SMS method (New Update):

Due to the removal of Accepting Admission on CAPS through JAMB portal access, candidates are now required to visit an accredited CBT centre to thumbprint and accept their admission.

Steps:

• Visit any accredited JAMB CBT centre  
• Request for admission acceptance  
• The CBT operator will access your JAMB profile  
• You will be asked to thumbprint (biometric confirmation)  
• Once completed, your admission will be officially accepted on JAMB's system  

Why This Change?

1. JAMB has phased out direct CAPS access for candidates  
2. This is to minimize fraud and multiple admissions  
3. Only SMS and CBT thumbprinting are now valid methods for admission acceptance.
